How do you allow remote desktop connection on windows PC?

It depends on what version of Windows you are using.
For Windows 7, click on Start => right click on Computer and choose Properties. Click on Remote Settings link. It will prompt for three options. The default is Don't allow connections to this computer.
To allow remote access to your computer, choose the second option. It is much easier for other to access to your pc.

PS: your system should have user name and password. otherwise, others can access to your pc without you knowing it. better yet, just change back to default option after you done.
