How to Jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 2G

Ok! the original iPhone (or 2G) is not on any one wish list any more so the support out there is either obsoleted or abandoned to support all latest models and OS.

For those who still using the iPhone, here is the detail on how to jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 2G. Jailbreak your iPhone is now LEGAL.

STEP 1:
First download these files and save them in one known folder.






Upzip and zip files to the same folder as all of the files above.


STEP 2:
- Open iTunes and conenct your iPhone to your computer and wait for the iPhone to be detected by iTunes
- hold down the "Shift" key and click the the "Restore" button on iTunes. A popup window will ask for the IPSW file. Browser to the folder contain the file iPhone1,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw and hit ok; and wait for iTunes to complete the restore.


STEP 3:
- Close iTunes when restore from iTunes is completed
- Launch redsnw0w.exe from the download above.
- When redsnw0w.exe is opened, click the "Browse" to select the firmware iPhone1,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw. Notice this is different then what you selected for iTunes restores. This is because redsnw0w still expecting this version. Dont worry your iPhone still be running you last supported firmware for iPhone 2G 3.1.3
- Wait for the firmware to be verify and confirmed; then click "Next"


STEP 4:
- At the next screen make sure "Install Cydia" and "Unclock" checkboxes are CHECKED; then click "Next"


STEP 5:
- Now browser thru our folder and select the two bin filed downloaded BL 3.9 and BL 4.6; then click "Next" follow the rest of the step on your computer to the letters.
- Wait until you get a "done" on your computer.

That's all, you have a jailbroken and unlock iPhone to use with any wireless company now.
